BUY OR BYE: MY BARESKIN SPECIALIST'S BANANA KIT

A month ago, My Bareskin Specialist — an up and coming organic skincare and haircare Filipino line — was lavish enough to send their newest product kit, the Banana line, for me to review about. In spite of that, I am earnestly honored to be one of the first people to test it out — and have the liberty to share my thoughts and experiences of the said kit. At the same time, this write-up is, indeed, sponsored; however, if you've been an avid reader of this site you must know, when doing my 'buy or bye' review, I am compelety honest (and sometimes harsh). Take note: my skin catalouged as combination skin type — combination of dry and oily skin — and what works for me, might not work for you and vise-versa.

Banana Vegan Soap
Although it is mild and it cleanses the skin, its performance, based on a month-long use, is the bare minimum. In resonance to a personal note: I have tried and tested multitudinous bar soaps; hence, I got to compare and contrast its effectivity to others. In that comparison, I'd categorize the Banana Vegan Soap as an average bar soap that I would not recommend. Bye, felicia!

Skin Protect Facial Gel
I was hyped to try this facial gel — a 2-in-1 moisturizer and SPF sunscreen — and gladly, it did not disappoint. If you know me, I always bring this with me, either on my bag nor pocket, for it is compact and it is perfect for the Manila's humid weather: giving my skin protection and moisture — that does not tend to make my skin oily. With all of that said, it, definitely, is worth the buy.

Banana Cream
Frankly, with its name being "Banana Cream" it makes me crave for Banana Cream Pie. Kidding aside, in the early stages of this year, I have been trying to elude cream-based products based on a personal try-and-test analysis. In light of that, I was not surmising much of this product; nonetheless, it proved me wrong. It is significant to moisturize your skin, whether what skin type you acquire, and this product, verily, did and exceeded far more. A must-buy and recommendation on my list.

Pure Banana Toner
Personally, I adore its Banana scent and how mild and perfect it is for me, because I have asthma. Inclusion to its scent, the performance of the toner is formidable — it tones and get rids of excess dirt, oil and bacteria in my skin whilst not having that stinging feeling. With its affordability and quality performance, it is a must-buy!
